Tabi basa & greetings everyone. In this post, I’d like to share some pictures that were captured during Wooter & Michelle’s engagement at Miri.

We were blessed because the sky was clear and there was no rain, though before this Miri always have heavy downpour.

The engagement ceremony was relatively straightforward, where there was a blessing of the engagement, followed by engagement vow (Semaya Betunang), besemaya enggau pengabis ati, promise whole-heartedly to accept one another as fiancé & fiancée.

The session was followed by cake cutting, and both Wooter and Michelle gave a piece of cake to one another, before giving it to their future mother & father in-law.

After that, both sides sent their representative to give and advice. Dinner session follows.

Since there were no takers, and green light was granted, yours truly started the karaoke session with “Wonderful Tonight” & “Getaran Jiwa”. As usual, Bekikis Bulu Betis & “Indi Duweh Taruh” can’t be separated. A lot more people sung to entertain the eventgoers who is having a good time, chatting and drinking with friends and family.

Later in the evening, there was also ngajat session, where the floor is open for those who would like to showcase their ngajat skills.
