Story About Father’s Day 2023

Tabi basa & greetings everyone. Today I’d like to take the opportunity to wish Happy Father’s Day to the person that we call “bapa / papa / daddy / amang / sama / apai / tama / amai / baba / appa ” etc.

Today is a day for us to celebrate these peoples and to thank them for all of their contributions in our lives – these father-figures, grandfather and father-to-be, where his role starts when his wife was pregnant.

Being father, they work in silence, an unsung hero in our lives. Working behind the scene to get things done, to give the best in our lives as well becoming our silent protector. They may not get really involved in our lives, but they shows their care in a different way.

SACRIFICE

Being a father means a man has to sacrifice what he could have been in order to fully commit to his role and take up the mantle of fatherhood. That man could have been a rockstar, a celebrity, someone somewhere, but they chose to be a father instead. It is not easy, but it has to be done.

While a mother loves you until you closes your eyes, a father is the one who loves you without an expression in his eyes.

Mother introduces you to the world in her caring & loving way, but father introduces the world & reality to you. He’s the first one to say “no” when you’re about to do something stupid.

A father’s love is considered tough love, but it complement a mother’s love; teaches you to get up & keep moving after you fall instead of whining and telling the whole world about it.

From the moment of our birth, we know about mother’s love. But only when we became a father, then we will know what a father’s love is.

LOVE THEM WHILE YOU STILL CAN

Therefore, while you still have the chance, while they are still around, wish your father Happy Father’s Day. They may not be perfect, no one is perfect anyway. Do answer their call and reply their text because they day will come when you will no longer receive such call & text from them.

Once again, Happy Father’s Day everyone.
